1. Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival

The most well-known cherry blossom festival in Seoul is the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival (also known as Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival).
It is famous for its 1,886 Korean Cherry trees along the 1.7km Yeouiseo-ro that begin to fully bloom in early to mid-April.
Stay till nightfall and view the cherry blossoms lit up with various colored lights.
Other spring flowers in full bloom include azaleas, forsythia, royal azaleas, etc. Explore other activities at Yeouido Hangang Park.
2. Namsan Seoul Tower

The cherry blossom path in Namsan Park is the longest trail of cherry trees anywhere in the city and is spectacular in full bloom.
3. Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival

Over 1000 cherry blossom trees lined the entire lake for another breathtaking experience together with Lotte World Magic Island in the background. Watch the cherry blossom trees lit up brilliantly at night too!
Activities include cherry blossom concert, piano on the lake, various performances, cherry blossom market, cherry blossom cinema and food truck.
4. Seoul Forest

5. Eungbongsan Mountain Forsythia Festival

Eungbongsan Mountain is famed for its yellow forsythia, the first place where spring flowers bloom in Seoul. The mountain turned into picturesque shades of gold, attracting visitors to hit the hiking trails.

7. Yangjaecheon Stream Cherry Blossom and Lantern Festival

Enjoy this local cherry blossoms hideout, away from the mainstream tourists. Walk on the well-paved road from Yangjae Citizen's Forest Station, along the beautiful Yangjaecheon Stream and ending at Dogok Station (or earlier at Maebong Station).

Another local cherry blossoms walking trail, away from the typical cherry blossoms crowd. Walk along Banpocheon Stream with end-to-end subway stations access.
9. Inwangsan Mountain

From Dongnimmun Station (line 3), enter the hillside of Inwangwan Mountain full of yellow forsythia flowers in Spring. From there, you can continue your hike to Inwangsan Mountain's peak, or cross over the sky bridge to the 7km raised wooden deck walk around Ansan Mountain.
