On top, Myeongdong Shopping District is a pedestrian-friendly (/car-free) zone where shoppers can enjoy total shopping and dining experiences. For travellers taking AREX Airport Express Train to/fro Incheon International Airport or travellers taking Subway Line 4 to/from Myeongdong Station with your luggage, kindly take note the followings:
a) you will need to carry your luggage via the stairs between train platform (B4) and station gantries (B1).
b) escalators between station gantries (B1) to street level are only available at Myeongdong Station's exit 1, 3 or 7. All other exits are via the stairs.
c) lift access (B4 - B1 & B1 - Street Level) is only available at Myeongdong Station's exit 1 which is generally quite a distance away unless you are staying on this side of the road.
