Jamwon Station (line 3, exit 4) - Direct to Grass Garden @ Jamwon Hangang Park. Go straight, turn left onto Jamwon-ro 8-gil. At the end of the road, turn right and cross the road at the traffic light ahead. Walk along the road towards the underpass to reach the Grass Garden on your left. 12 mins walk.
Sinsa Station (line 3, exit 8) - via Sinsadong Garosu-gil Shopping Street. Go straight, turn left onto Dosan-daero 13-gil & all the way straight to the park via an underpass on the last section. 20 mins walk.
Apgujeong Station (line 3, exit 6) - from Hyundai Department Store. Walk straight along Apgujeong-ro, turn right onto Apgujeong-ro 11-gil and straight towards the underpass for the park. 15 mins walk.

Jamwon Hangang Park has gained popularity in recent years for its Pink Muhly Grass in Autumn. The park is within walking distance from the well-known Sinsadong Garosu-gil Shopping Street and Hyundai Department Store, making it a good place for a relaxing break in nature.

Autumn Highlights - Pink Muhly Grass @ Grass Garden

Jamwon Hangang Park Grass Garden, located near the outdoor swimming pool is an unique garden of grass that changes colour across the seasons. Among all the plants, the garden is particularly popular for its pink muhly grass, best viewed from October to mid November in Autumn when they are in full bloom.

This park has less activities or attractions for foreign visitors compared to Banpo Hangang Park or Yeouido Hangang Park. The nearest bicycle rental kiosk is a distance away towards the first bridge on the left (of facing Han River); and return to the same kiosk is required as of all bicycle rentals along Han River (Hangang).

This park can be visited together with Sinsadong Garosu-gil or/and Hyundai Department Store - Apgujeong Flagship Store.

Jamwon Hangang Park is recommended for its relatively short walk from either of these two locations via a lovely neighbourhood and a non traffic heavy underpass direct to the park.
