Mangwon Hangang Park is located on the northern part of Han River, stretching from Seongsandaegyo Bridge where most of the attractions are located, to Yanghwadaegyo Bridge.

Seoul Battleship Park (also known as Seoul Hamgongwon) is the first ship-themed park in Seoul.
There are 3 retired warships, namely Frigate Seoul, Patrol Killer Medium and Submarine at Seoul Battleship Park.
You can tour the interior of the warships, left in their original forms.
Of which, Frigate Seoul (length 102m, width 11.3m) that has protected the Korea's territorial waters for 30 years is parked by the river bank. You can visit its captain's room, radar room, wheelhouse, front chamber, 31-gun standing ammunition storage, dining area, bunk rooms, etc.
You can also walk the bow and stern decks to take exclusive photographs of Frigate Seoul with the beautiful Han River in the background.

maPoint is a floating complex located at the bank of Han River at Mangwon Hangang Park, minutes walk from Mangwon Underpass or Seoul Battleship Park.

For the adventurous, you can continue on the walking trail from Seoul Battleship Park/maPoint towards Yanghwadaegyo Bridge, part of Mapo Walking Trails - Mangwon Hangang-gil (Course 6) ending at Hapjeong Station (line 2/6, exit 8).
You can also visit the site of Mangwonjeong Pavilion (a royal pavilion & scenic spot during Joseon Dynasty), Mangwon Green Trail and Yanghwadaegyo Bridge on your walking course.

Picnics @Mangwon Hangang Park
Mangwon Hangang Park is popular for picnics, particularly for visitors with their favourite food/bread purchased from nearby Mangwon Market and Mangridan-gil's famous bakeries.
In fact, there are a few unmanned picnic set rental stores (for mats, chairs, tents, etc) along Mangwon-ro Road near the traffic light just before Mangwon Underpass.
Of which, Sena Picnic offers many cute and pretty props on top of the usual picnic essentials for your memorable picnic experience at Mangwon Hangang Park.
For wine lovers, check out Sooldoran Wine & Picnic 술도란 located along Huiujeong-ro Road (@70 Huiujeong-ro, just before the cross road, Donggyo-ro). 11 mins walk from Mangwon Underpass.
💡From Sooldoran, you can turn right to Donggyo-ro and walk all the way to Mangwon Hangang Park. There are signs along the way. 7 mins walk.
Cherry Blossom Hot Spots & Routes

Huiujeong-ro Cherry Blossom Road 희우정로
Mangwon Hangang Park and nearby Huiujeong-ro Road is probably one of the best hidden cherry blossom hot spots for overseas visitors to Seoul. Many locals love to visit this charming neighbourhood compared to the more crowded Yeouido during the festive cherry blossom season.
Huiujeong-ro Cherry Blossom Road can be reached from Mangwon Hangang Park (just after the sport facilities) or easily from Hapjeong Station (line 2/6, exit 8, 5 mins walk). Walk straight along Yanghwa-ro after station's exit and turn right to Huiujeong-ro for the cherry blossom-lined road (500m long), extended till the cross road, Donggyo-ro Road (or technically near World Cup-ro 7-gil Street).
Along Huiujeong-ro Road, you can take unique cherry blossom photos with the brick-style and retro-looking buildings on the background.
Cherry Blossoms Near Mangwon Hangang Park's Sport Facilities
From Huiujeong-ro Cherry Blossom Road, you can continue your cherry blossom trail by turning left to Donggyo-ro Road and walk straight to Hangang Mangwon Park. 6 mins walk and there are signs along the way too.
Once you reached Mangwon Hangang Park, the cherry blossom trail shall be on your right. Walk along the cherry blossom path next to the basketball courts to soccer field, volleyball courts, tennis courts and end near children's baseball field.
This is the preferred cherry blossom spot for many as it is free from traffic.
Cherry Blossoms on Other Parts of Mangwon Hangang Park
There are also random cherry blossom trees located near Seoul Battleship Park and the cycling path along Han River towards Yanghwadaegyo Bridge.
The other stretch of cherry blossom trees can be found on your right after exiting from Mangwon Underpass to Mangwon Hangang Park towards Seongsandaegyo Bridge.
