Ttukseom Hangang Park is a popular riverside park with a good number of facilities and attractions for a fun-filled day in Seoul. It is also conveniently located at Jayang Station (line 7) or 15 mins walk from Konkuk Univ. Station (line 2/7).

💡Jayang (Ttukseom Hangang Park) Station has gone through several name changes. It was first named Ttukseom Resort Station at the time of opening in 2000 and was later renamed to Ttukseom Park Station in 2019. Some maps also refer to it as Ttukseom Recreation Area Station. On 29 February 2024, the station returned to its originally planned name, Jayang Station, 24 years after it began operation.

Ttukseom Hangang Park offers different activities across the seasons such as windsurfing and kayaking during summer; snow sledding during winter and flower shows in spring and autumn.

1. Seoul Saenggaengmaru (Ttukseom Beetle)

(exit 3, 2 mins walk)

9:30 - 17:30 (Tue - Fri) | 9:30 - 20:00 (Sat - Sun). Closed every Monday, Lunar New Year's Day and Chuseok.

Seoul Saenggaengmaru/Ttukseom Beetle (also known as J-Bug or Jabeolle) is an exquisite 240m long cylindrical cultural complex and the icon of Ttukseom Hangang Park. It has a reading space, cafe, observation deck and exhibition hall.

2 Paintings on the Pillars

Discover the interesting paintings on the bridge's pillars with an added touch of nature by the climbing ivy vines.

3. Bicycle Rental

(next to the stairs coming down from station exit 2)

₩3,000 for the first hour, ₩4,500 for 1.5hrs or ₩6,000 for 2 hrs rental

You can enjoy affordable bicycle rental for a leisure and pleasant ride along the beautiful Han River. Tandem (/couple) and kid bicycles are available too.

💡Photo ID required for bicycle rental and collect upon bicycle return to the same kiosk.

Pedal Duck Boat: ₩30,000 (1-3 pax, 30 mins) | Motor Duck Boat: ₩50,000 (1-3 pax, 30 mins). Up to 7 people at an additional charge of ₩10,000 per person.

The ship-looking Arirang House boasts the largest number of duck boats on Han River.

2. Ttukseom Four Seasons Outdoor Swimming Pool

Summer (late Jun to late Aug) - It is a swimming pool and water park that can accommodate up to 3,500 people. 9:00 - 18:00, Adult: ₩5,000 / Teenager: ₩4,000 / Child: ₩3,000. official website

 

Spring & Autumn - It is used as cafeteria.

Winter (late Dec - mid Feb) - It becomes a winter wonderland for snow sledding, amusement rides and ice fishing experience. 9:00 - 17:00, Admission fee: ₩6,000.
