Once you get off the bus, walk straight on your right. Turn left onto the road next to Club Espresso Cafe and walk straight. At the fork function, take the left road, walk straight (do not turn left at the small side road) until you reached a 3-level high white building at the road fork, continue on the right side uphill for 10-18 mins until you reach Sanmotoonge. Total walk is about 900m, mostly uphill.
Buam-dong is charming and peaceful neighbourhood popular for its great cafes, classic restaurants and famous art galleries.
Nestled between Inwangsan and Bukhansan Mountains, it offers great views at every turn and probably, the best kept 'secret' in Seoul.
The coffee shop, Sanmotoonge is made famous as the film site of the Korean drama, 'The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince'.
It is a lovely brick house with breathtaking panoramic view of Northern Seoul and Seoul City Wall.
On top, its tastefully designed rooms and amazing terrace view provide great photo-taking opportunities.
