3. Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House) 청와대

Free 60 mins tour of the presidential compound available for reservation on english1.president.go.kr at least 3 weeks to 6 months in advance.

Tour procedures and meeting point are clearly outlined. The tour is conducted in Korean only. Non-Korean speakers can use the audio guide supplied free.

4. Bukchon Hanok Village

From Samcheong-ro main road, you can continue on to Bukchon Hanok Village path:

a. Cross the street from Samcheongdong Sujebi Restaurant to the Dessert Cafe (see picture on photo gallery).

b. Walk up the stairs at the side of the cafe.

c. Turn left onto the slight slope.

d. Another left turn onto the stairs up slope. This is one of the 8 photo-shot views (#8) of Bukchon Hanok Village.

Once you have reached the street level, you can continue on your left to Bukchon Museum Old Fragrance, or onto your right to Bukchon 7th, 6th, 4th or 5th Views.
