Sejong Village Food Street is a street of restaurants that offers a wide variety of local cuisines. It is conveniently located 20m straight from Gyeongbokgung Station (line 3, exit 2) in Seochon Hanok Village, Seoul.


Sejong Village Food Street was formerly known as 'Geumcheon Market'. In 2011, it was officially named 'Sejong Village Food Culture Street'.
💡'Sejong Village' is named after the village (also known as Seochon Hanok Village) where King Sejong of the of the Joseon Dynasty was born.








The 280m long, pedestrian-friendly food street is closed to traffic from 11:00 to 22:00 daily.

Anju Maeul is a seafood restaurant selected for Blue Ribbon Survey yearly from 2020 to 2025. This super popular restaurant is 'famous' for its insanely long queue (often for hours). Bonefire Grill is a famous Pork BBQ restaurant that has appeared in several local TV programs and selected for the Blue Ribbon Survey in 2025. There are 2 floors of seating areas. Seochon Tteulaeu Gopchang Town is famous for Gopchang (beef intestines. yes, intestines that are often seen in Korean mukbang videos). Posters of the restaurant featured in local TV programs are pasted on their storefront and interior.
