Cafe Layered is famous for its scones from plain homemade, green onion cream cheese, cranberry cream cheese, lemons, earl grey, cinnamon apple jam, strawberry, coconut to blueberry scones and more. They also have an extensive display of cakes such as Victoria cake, red velvet cream cake, blueberry cheesecake, carrot cake, lemon cake, etc. You will be spoilt for choice at Cafe Layered!

Onion is one of the hottest and famous cafes in Korea! Be prepared to queue onsite even before the store is opened! Onion Anguk offers so many different types of delicious bread and pastries that you wish you can eat them all! The cafe has a large hanok-style interior with multiple seating areas, both indoor and outdoor.

Located 3 mins walk from Anguk Station (line 3, exit 3), Dotori Garden Anguk is a great place to take a breather amidst your travelling to enjoy the healing comfort of the standalone, 2-storey converted house with a garden. It is a popular must-visit bakery pilgrimage spot in Seoul.

The bakery cafe is famous for its fresh Greek yogurt bowls such as organic acai, dubai chewy cookie, cacao double double, all about grain, real blueberry, apple cinnamon, real strawberry and ripe persimmon topped with natural honeycomb. It also offers a wide selection of ciabatta, acorn-shaped madeleines, salt bread, cookies, canelés, croissants, Dotori bread, soup & brunch, drinks (yogurt drink, fresh fruit juice, coffee, tea) and Dotori merchandise.

Shilla Jemyeon Anguk is a famous Korean restaurant, 3 mins walk from Anguk Station (line 3, exit 3) or directly opposite Dotori Garden Anguk.

Set in a grand-looking European-style house with private courtyard, garden and pond with koi fishes.

Its menu includes Kalnakji (spicy stir-fried octopus with Korean kalguksu knife-cut noodles), Kalnaksae (spicy stir-fried octopus & shrimp with kalguksu), Dongjuk Kalguksu (kalguksu noodle soup with surf clams), Potato Pancake, Seafood & green Onion Pancake, Meat Dumplings and Bibimbap (with leftover spicy octopus noodles). Orders are made via the tablet with menu pictures at table.

Located in the narrow alley, the popular Kkangtong Mandu restaurant has been selected for the Blue Ribbon Survey (Korea's leading restaurant guide) yearly since 2014. You can have freshly-made noodles, hand-chopped dumplings and bone broth brewed for over 12 hours. Again, do expect a queue at this restaurant.

London Bagel Museum is famous for their bagels and used to be infamous for their ridiculously long queue (hours at times!) regardless of the time or day of the week. However, with more stores now opened in Seoul, you can get to enjoy their popular bagels without the long queue.

Cafe04293 is a great place to enjoy quality Korean shaved ice (bingsu) in a tranquil atmosphere, located 7 mins walk from Anguk Station (line 3, exit 3) along Gyedong-gil.

For a cafe specialising in bingsu, it is surprisingly spacious with different cozy areas of zen interior design on both 1F and 2F. There is also an outdoor courtyard area where you can dine under the trees.

Its Korean shaved ice menu includes milk bingsu, strawberry bingsu, green tea bingsu and the most popular mango bingsu. Other dessert samples (e.g. tiramisu, dirty banana) are displayed at the counter too. Their Black Sesame Latte is another recommended try.

Unlike other bingsu places, Cafe04293's bingsu are served attractively with the shaved ice and all other toppings in their own separate bowls.

💡The name of the cafe '04293' is on the facade with the letters put together using white rocks.

OULLOC is the famous award-winning tea brand from Jeju that cultivates, harvests and produces its own teas. Osulloc Tea House Bukchon is located in a 3-storey house with beautiful courtyard and Hanok Village views, 9 mins walk from Anguk Station (exit 2).
